
Fernanda D’oro Fontes (Executive Director) is a Toronto-based arts worker and screenwriter who draws inspiration from her experience as a queer Latina immigrant to write stories about home and longing. She worked as a Development Manager at CaribbeanTales Media Group, supporting and overseeing the development and packaging of multiple projects. Yu Xin Shi (Social Media & Marketing Coordinator) is a writer, filmmaker, and arts worker. Professionally, she has worked in communications, digital marketing, and in social media across sectors including fashion, film, design, and architecture. Her own work is informed by her Chinese identity and a search for belonging. She is specifically interested in representations of girlhood through internet culture, the history of domesticity and craft, and matrilineal narratives. She was raised in Ontario and currently resides in Toronto. She holds a BFA in Image Arts: Film Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University. She/her
