This year’s theme is TRANSFORMATIONS. We’re looking for submissions that speak to the ways that we have, and continue to evolve, both personally and as a society. In the midst of changing political, social, cultural and physical landscapes, how do we reflect on the ways in which we’ve changed? How do climate change, political conflicts, social and economic crises, and the rise of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, force us to rethink ourselves and the fabric of our communities? What does it mean to move forward and grow, taking into account personal and social revolutions and evolutions? We’re looking for stories that examine unlearning, relearning and breaking from tradition, in order to become new versions of ourselves. These stories also speak to how transformations lead us to grapple with identities, new and old, to eventually rise and embrace new, joyful ways of being.
