Brian Carver 

Brian Carver is the President of Nero Films, a boutique production company dedicated to making films that “present an alternative and unconventional look at the human experience.” His most recent short films include A Brief History of the Apocalypse (2016) and Maypole Rose (2016). Brian is also the Founder and former Executive Director of Breakthroughs Film Festival, the only festival in Canada devoted to showcasing short films by New Generation women filmmakers. As a producer, Brian strives to further his mission of supporting talented female filmmakers by working with women in a variety of key creative roles. He has an academic background in Spanish and Latin American Film Studies.
