Theola Ross is a 43-year-old social worker and filmmaker from Pimicikamak Cree Nation, Manitoba, now living in Tkaronto, Ontario. Theola is a parent to a fun-loving 2-year-old daughter named Kîwêtin-NorthWind. Theo works as a frontline worker with the YWCA. Armed with a tough exterior and a warm heart Theola also works within the community, teaching the Cree language to youth, sharing her story and bringing the arts through an Indigenous lens to schools in the Toronto District School Board. Theola Ross wrote and directed the short film, êmîcêtôsêt-Many Bloodlines, her latest film, in 2020.
